ProCredit Bank announces a vacancy for a position of Financial Risk Officer in General Risk Department. 
ProCredit is one of the leading banks in Georgia, which offers full array of complex services to small and medium enterprises as well as private individuals. It is a part of the international ProCredit Group, which successfully operates in countries of South-Eastern and Eastern Europe, Latin America and Germany. ProCredit Group is managed by ProCredit Holding (Frankfurt am Main, Germany), which is responsible for strategic management, capital adequacy, reporting, risk management and business management of the group. 
 
ProCredit Bank Georgia is Rated BB+ by the international rating agency “Fitch Ratings”. It is the highest rating in Georgia and is one step higher than the country rating. 
 
Responsibilities and functions: 
  • Setting up local financial (FX, Interest rate Risk, Liquidity) and Counterparty risk policies in line with group standards and local regulations and requirements. 
  • Implementing the Financial risk management tools and the reporting processes as laid out in the Risk policies. 
  • Definition of policy framework for Capital requirements, its implementation and management. 
  • Preparation of analysis and assessment systems for timely recognition of financial risks and capital requirements. 
  • Daily Controlling of Internal Risk Limits and regulatory requirements. 
  • Elaboration and introduction of the relative methods for restriction and hedging financial risks. Preparation of adequate reporting systems. 
  • Analyzing different risk factors and their influence on the bank’s business operations from short, mid and long-term time perspectives. 
  • Forecasting different stress scenarios connected with the above-mentioned financial risks. 
  • Participating in preparation of different regulatory reports. 
  • Monitoring compliance with the Recovery Plan limits connected with liquidity and capital. 
  • Reporting to the established committees in the bank. Giving recommendations to the bank’s committees on possible actions to manage financial risk. 
  • Analyzing Georgian Banking Sector, domestic macro-economic indicators and the related risks, which may be relevant for financial risk and capital management. 
  • Communication with the regulator, holding and other relevant parties. 
 
Requirements: 
  • Fluent in Georgian language. 
  • Knowledge of the English language at a high level (>B2). 
  • Knowledge of office computer programs; Advanced knowledge of MS Excel. 
  • Higher education - preferably in the direction of finance / economy. 
  • Similar work experience or experience in financial auditing is highly prioritized. 
  • Knowledge of SQL is prioritized.
