Our company GM Pharmaceuticals  is seeking a dynamic Full-Stack Developer to join our Digital Systems and Information Technology team.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for upgrading and modernizing our old applications that are currently built in Microsoft Access.  This role involves both front-end and back-end development to enhance application performance and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and migrate existing Microsoft Access applications to more scalable platforms;
  • Design, develop, and implement modern full-stack applications;
  • Work collaboratively with project managers and other team members to understand requirements and deliver solutions;
  • Maintain and improve the performance of existing software;
  • Test and maintain software products to ensure strong functionality and optimization;
  • Recommend improvements to existing software programs as necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and frameworks like React or Angular;
  • Experience with server-side languages such as Node.js, Python, Ruby, Java, or .NET;
  • Familiarity with database technology such as SQL, MongoDB, and especially transitioning from Microsoft Access;
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and server-side APIs integration;
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability;
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment;
  • Experience in developing responsive and user-friendly interfaces.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Knowledge of version control tools such as Git. 
  • Prior experience in migrating systems from Microsoft Access to more modern solutions is highly desirable.
