Grant Thornton is looking for a specialist for a position for a large international company: SAP FICO (Financial Accounting and Controlling) Consultant – Localization & Compliance
Location: Georgia
Experience: 5–8 years
Languages: Russian, English & Georgian (preferred)

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure SAP FICO configuration aligns with Georgian statutory requirements (VAT, financial reporting, e-invoicing).
- Customize and validate local financial statements and tax reporting using SAP’s localization features.
- Collaborate with the central implementation team to adapt the global financial template to local needs.
- Support data migration (chart of accounts, balances, open items).
- Lead UAT, Train-the-Trainer (TTT) sessions, and end-user training.
- Provide post-go-live support and act as a strategic liaison between local finance and global teams.
Required Skills:
- Expertise in SAP FI (GL, AP, AR, AA) and CO (Cost Center, Internal Orders).
- Strong understanding of Georgian tax laws, VAT, and financial compliance.
- Experience with S/4HANA Finance and Universal Journal.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
