La Tabal is seeking a Cost Controller
Role Type: Full - time (weekdays only)
Location: Sololaki, Tbilisi
Compensation: 1800.00 Gel starting salary after tax meanwhile on 3 months of probation period. (From 09:30 till 18:00)
We’re a high-paced cocktail bar in the heart of Sololaki looking for a responsible, detail-oriented cost controller to join our team.

Reports to: General Manager (GM) / Finance Manager
Job Purpose:
The Cost Controller is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and reporting all costs related to food, beverage, and operational supplies to ensure effective cost management and profitability across all outlets. This role ensures accurate stock control, cost allocation, and financial transparency in line with company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Cost Control & Analysis
- Oversee and manage all cost control activities across outlets.
- Monitor daily and monthly cost variances and report discrepancies to management.
- Analyze consumption patterns and identify areas for cost optimization.
- Ensure that all expenses are accurately recorded and allocated to the correct cost centers.
Inventory & Stock Management
- Coordinate monthly stocktaking across all outlets together with outlet managers.
- Verify and reconcile physical stock counts with system data.
- Investigate and report stock variances and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movement, wastage, and transfers.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare monthly cost control reports and submit them to the GM and Finance Manager.
- Assist in preparing financial forecasts and cost-related analysis for management decisions.
- Ensure cost control documentation is properly maintained and accessible for audit.
Collaboration & Compliance
- Work closely with outlet managers, storekeepers, and accounting staff to ensure cost accuracy.
- Support the GM in identifying and correcting operational or accounting errors related to cost.
- Ensure compliance with internal control procedures and company policies.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in cost control, preferably in the hospitality or F&B industry.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent knowledge of Excel and cost control software.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Performance Indicators:
- Accuracy of monthly cost reports and variance analysis.
- Timeliness of stocktaking and reporting.
- Reduction of waste and improvement of cost efficiency.
