Chef De Partie



Job Brief:

Ensures the highest standards and consistent quality in the daily preparation and keeps up to date with the new

products, recipes and preparation techniques.



Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensures that food cooked and served is of a high quality as required by the hotel standards.
  • Ensures that all dishes are being prepared to the correct recipe and to correct quantity, presentation of food are always of the highest quality.
  • Full awareness of all menu items, their recipes, methods of production and presentation standards.
  • Coordinates daily tasks with the Headchef;
  • Consults daily with Headchef on the daily requirements, functions and also about any last-minute events.
  • Responsible to supervise commis;
  • Uses a high level of cooking skills in the production of new food dishes using modern food technology and methods.



Knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Culinary school diploma is desirable;
  • At least 3-year work experience in a similar position;
  • Fluent Georgian is a must, Intermediate English is desirable;
  • Flexible to work different shifts;
  • Good Organizational skills;
  • Hardworking, team spirited;
  • Good communication skills;



Commis Cook


Job brief:

Under the direction of the Demi Chef and Head Chef, prepares and produces food as directed. Ensures that all stocks are kept under optimum conditions.



Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Uses a high level of cooking skills in the production of dishes;
  • Ensures that all dishes are being prepared to the correct recipe and to correct quantity, served at the right



temperature as required;

  • Maintains sufficient stock levels of all food items needed;
  • Ensures that the section is being kept clean and tidy at all times;
  • Strictly follows proper fire, safety and hygiene practices.



Knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • At least 1- year work experience in a similar position;
  • Fluent Georgian is a must, Basic English is desirable;
  • Flexible to work different shifts;
  • Eager to learn and develop new cooking skills;
  • Detail oriented, organized, punctual, fast;
  • Able to work independently as well as be a good team player.
