Alpha Navigation is a maritime crewing and recruitment company. We help shipowners and ship managers recruit, place, and support qualified seafarers. Alongside our crewing operations, we develop digital tools that streamline recruitment, crew management, document workflows, and communication.
About the role
We are looking for a hands-on Product Marketing Manager to help bring a complex B2B ERP/SaaS product to market. You will connect customer and market insight with product strategy, positioning, sales enablement, and demand generation.
This role is suited to someone who can work independently in a small team, move from research to execution, and turn an unclear market opportunity into a focused go-to-market plan. You will help define who we serve first, explain the product in clear business language, support early sales conversations, and build a repeatable path toward qualified opportunities and paid pilots.

About the role

You will help define who we serve first, explain the product in clear business language, support early sales conversations, and build a repeatable path toward qualified opportunities and paid pilots.
What you will own
- Define and refine the ideal customer profile, buyer personas, priority segments, and target markets.
- Conduct customer interviews, market research, competitor analysis, and message testing to identify the strongest opportunities.
- Create positioning, messaging, value propositions, use-case narratives, and differentiation for maritime customers.
- Help shape pricing, packaging, pilot structures, and customer-ready offers together with the commercial and product teams.
- Develop go-to-market plans covering launch priorities, channels, campaigns, partnerships, and regional activation.
- Create sales enablement materials such as presentations, one-pagers, solution overviews, case studies, battlecards, and demo narratives.
- Create and maintain product messaging, sales content, thought leadership, professional-platform content, and industry communications..
- Plan targeted outreach and account-based campaigns for shipowners, ship managers, crewing companies, and other relevant decision-makers.
- Create a feedback loop between customers, sales, product, and engineering, using market evidence to improve messaging and influence product priorities.
- Own funnel visibility and reporting across qualified conversations, demos, pilots, conversion, pipeline, and revenue contribution.
- Design practical marketing experiments with clear hypotheses, budgets, success metrics, and stop/continue decisions.

What we are looking for
- 5+ years of experience in product marketing, B2B SaaS, ERP, enterprise software, marketplace, or technology marketing.
- Experience taking a complex software product from market understanding to clear positioning and go-to-market execution.
- Strong expertise in ICP definition, segmentation, positioning, messaging, value propositions, and demand generation.
- Experience with consultative or enterprise B2B sales cycles and senior decision-makers.
- Ability to create clear, persuasive English for websites, campaigns, sales materials, presentations, and customer communication.
- Strong customer and market research skills, including interviews, competitor analysis, message testing, and synthesis.
- Ability to work hands-on across strategy, content, outreach, sales support, and performance analysis without a large marketing department.
- Data-informed approach to pipeline, conversion, CAC, revenue contribution, and experiment design.
- Strong ownership, prioritization, and communication skills, including the ability to influence Product, Sales, and Engineering without direct authority.
- Comfort working with ambiguity and turning incomplete information into clear hypotheses and practical next steps.
- Fluent working English, written and spoken, at B2–C1 level.
Nice to have
- Experience in maritime, crewing, shipping, logistics, ERP, or other industry software.
- Existing network in maritime or enterprise software markets.
- Experience selling into Europe, India, Asia, or other international B2B markets.
- Experience with AI-enabled software or technical products.
- Experience with LinkedIn, industry media, webinars, events, CRM, marketing automation, and analytics.
- Experience launching a new SaaS category, repositioning a product, or building product marketing processes from scratch.
