Hotels & Preference Hualing Tbilisi is announcing an opening for the position of: Commis Cook 

  • Ensures that all dishes are served at the right temperature as required, plated correctly/displayed garnished, the correct portion and size, presented on the prescribed serving dish in the prescribed manner
  • Ensures that his/her section is being kept clean and tidy at all times, and all HACCP systems are adhered 
  • Ensures that all food cooked and served is of a high quality as required by the company standards
  • Uses a high level of cooking skills in the production of new food dishes using modern food technology and methods
  • Ensures that his/her section is being kept clean and tidy at all times and all fire, safety and hygiene practices are strictly followed 
  • Ensures that any hazards and maintenance related issues are promptly reported to the CDP or Exec Chef or Sous Chef on duty 
  • Ensures that any accident or damage to the property belongings are promptly reported to the CDP or Exec Chef or Sous Chef on duty
  • Ensures that security is a priority and is responsible for locking up areas
  • Maintains sufficient stock levels of all food items needed
  • To aid stock taking within the Kitchen department 
  • Proven experience in relevant role
  • Understands that the property main objective is that respective guest is satisfied with the hotel services at all times, the hotel and its employees main goal is to achieve and exceed guest/client expectations
  • Comply with all company policies 
  • Comply with all systems and procedures as laid down by the General Manager and Executive Chef 
  • Maintain and promotes a good work relation with colleagues within and of other departments within the company
