British International School of Tbilisi (BIST) is looking to recruit dynamic, committed individuals who are self-motivated, energetic, flexible and confident to take up challenges.
Early Years Teacher (for children aged 3-4 years old)
 
A candidate with the appropriate qualifications and experience is required to work in a team including teachers as well as other professionals supporting the overall development of students.

Job Description:
Early Years Teachers work under the direction of the Early Years Coordinator and are assigned duties and responsibilities that support the overall learning of the students in English.
Working together with the other staff to promote the development of the curriculum, programmes of study, teaching materials, and methods of teaching and assessment.
Candidates must have experience in teaching students in the class and should have a good command of written and spoken English (Preferably advanced level of English language, C1/C2)

Main responsibilities will consists of:
  • Planning and preparing programmes and teaching materials.
  • Assessing individual educational needs and teaching at a variety of levels to meet these.
  • Monitoring, assessing and recording the progress of all pupils assigned to him/her, providing written and verbal reports on development, progress and achievement.
  • Working towards the relevant assessment points and conducting the assessments should it be appropriate.
  • Promoting the children’s general physical, social and emotional welfare. This includes overall responsibility for every child during official school working hours and for a reasonable period afterwards.
  • Communicating with, consulting and advising parents and participating in meetings arranged for any of the purposes described above.
  • Participating in all CPD and in-service training arrangements.
