You’ll be working closely with our SEO auditing team, who will provide you with detailed SEO audits with a list of issues that need to be addressed.
Main Responsibilities:
- Implement SEO fixes outlined in completed technical SEO audits.
- Resolve common site issues, such as fixing broken links, removing redirects, and cleaning up URL structures.
- Optimize on-page SEO, including updating meta titles, descriptions, canonical tags, and structured data (schema markup).
- Ensure proper internal linking and improve site architecture for better crawlability.
- Update robots.txt and XML sitemaps as needed.
- Monitor and fix indexing and crawling errors flagged in Google Search Console.
- Use SEO tools like Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, and Google Search Console to identify and verify fixes.
- Work with developers when necessary to resolve issues that require coding adjustments.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in technical SEO (Shopify experience is a bonus).
- Familiarity with SEO tools like Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, and Google Search Console.
- Strong understanding of on-page SEO elements, redirects, and site structure.
- Experience working with Shopify’s admin panel and theme editor (Liquid knowledge is a plus but not required).
- Ability to troubleshoot and implement SEO fixes efficiently without supervision.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
