Georgian Beer and Beverages Group (GBBG) is part of the Royal Swinkels global group of breweries. The Georgian group includes two businesses: Global Beer Georgia (GBG) and Georgia Distribution and Logistics (GDL).

Job Brief: 
  • As a key member of the local and international finance team, the Group Head of Finance will play a vital role in overseeing financial operations across GBBG. Reporting directly to the Group CFO, leading the business control team and acting as a trusted business partner. Responsible for driving financial planning, enhancing internal processes, supporting strategic decision-making, and developing team capabilities. The role requires a proactive and analytical professional with a strong ability to lead, model, and improve financial practices within a dynamic and fast-growing organization. 
 
Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Act as a trusted business partner, driving the business and creating value across departments 
  • Oversee financial planning processes, including regular review of financial plans and preparation of monthly rolling forecasts 
  • Mentor and develop the business control team of five to build capabilities and performance 
  • Preparing and reviewing the monthly financial statements and presentations for internal and external stakeholders 
  • Lead the annual budgeting process from planning to implementation 
  • Lead and coordinate the external audit process and manage related workflows 
  • Conduct capital allocation analyses, including investment and divestment cases 
  • Develop and maintain cash flow models to support strategic and operational decision-making 
  • Analyse commercial contracts to evaluate financial and strategic implications 
  • Perform financial modelling and scenario analysis to support business planning and risk assessment 
  • Work with financial institutions 
  • Carry out additional tasks as required to support departmental and company-wide goals. 
 
Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor`s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field is required 
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience 
  • Knowledge of English language is mandatory, other languages will be considered as an advantage 
  • Advance knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint 
 
Skills: 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Strong analytical skills 
  • Team management skills 
  • Strong interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines 
  • Knowledge of reporting, budgeting, information analysis 
  • Knowledge of IFRS Standards (ACCA would be an advantage) 
  • Ability to develop and adapt to new reporting standards  
  • Working experience with ERP systems
