Job Brief:
- As a key member of the local and international finance team, the Group Head of Finance will play a vital role in overseeing financial operations across GBBG. Reporting directly to the Group CFO, leading the business control team and acting as a trusted business partner. Responsible for driving financial planning, enhancing internal processes, supporting strategic decision-making, and developing team capabilities. The role requires a proactive and analytical professional with a strong ability to lead, model, and improve financial practices within a dynamic and fast-growing organization.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Act as a trusted business partner, driving the business and creating value across departments
- Oversee financial planning processes, including regular review of financial plans and preparation of monthly rolling forecasts
- Mentor and develop the business control team of five to build capabilities and performance
- Preparing and reviewing the monthly financial statements and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
- Lead the annual budgeting process from planning to implementation
- Lead and coordinate the external audit process and manage related workflows
- Conduct capital allocation analyses, including investment and divestment cases
- Develop and maintain cash flow models to support strategic and operational decision-making
- Analyse commercial contracts to evaluate financial and strategic implications
- Perform financial modelling and scenario analysis to support business planning and risk assessment
- Work with financial institutions
- Carry out additional tasks as required to support departmental and company-wide goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor`s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field is required
- 3+ years of relevant work experience
- Knowledge of English language is mandatory, other languages will be considered as an advantage
- Advance knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Team management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
- Knowledge of reporting, budgeting, information analysis
- Knowledge of IFRS Standards (ACCA would be an advantage)
- Ability to develop and adapt to new reporting standards
- Working experience with ERP systems
