The Georgian Co-Investment Fund (GCF) is a private equity fund based in Tbilisi, Georgia, managing investments across key economic sectors such as Hospitality & Real Estate, Agriculture, Retail and more. With a team of approximately 30 professionals and a portfolio of affiliated companies, GCF aims to support and drive long-term, sustainable economic growth in Georgia through strategic investments.

Position Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Financial Analyst to support the Business Analytical Department. The role involves assisting in financial and operational reporting, data analysis, and contributing to the monitoring of KPIs and model development across portfolio companies. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity to gain exposure to private equity and sector-specific business analytics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in preparing financial reports and dashboards for portfolio companies across multiple sectors.
  • Support the identification and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) by gathering data, tracking performance, and assisting with variance analysis.
  • Contribute to the preparation of analytical reports summarizing KPI trends and operational outcomes.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating managerial financial models, ensuring they align with internal standards and support investor communication.
  • Help identify deviations in models from set standards and work with the senior team to address discrepancies.
  • Use Excel to manipulate data and generate financial insights.
  • Support the creation of Power BI dashboards and visuals for internal reporting.
  • Provide general analytical and research support for new investments and ongoing performance reviews.

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 0–2 years of experience in finance, consulting, investment analysis, or related roles.
  • Strong Excel skills – including data manipulation, pivot tables, charts, and basic financial functions.
  • Experience or exposure to Power BI (basic report creation or dashboarding preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of financial modeling – a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in English and Georgian (written and spoken).
