JOB SCOPE
To develop and implement effective Marketing and Communication strategies in line with the brand and the hotel's commercial objectives. Plan and create promotions and packages together with the relevant departments, i.e. F&B, Rooms, Spa etc…and incorporate a multi-channel approach to all activities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop strong relationships with the media (trade and consumer press, radio and TV) and leverage these relationships to create public interest of the hotel and its facilities.
Generate interest stories through press releases and arrange press interviews or conference for such opportunities to expose hotel and brand favourably to domestic and international media.
Create newsworthy articles by working with related departments for publication and direct mailing to our customer database. Communicate interest stories, promotional package to our guests by creating a monthly newsletter.
Maintain and monitor all advertising standards and promotional materials in accordance to the brand standards.
Develop strong relationship with local government authorities, associations and community to foster a strong community relationship for the hotel.
Maintains an up-to-date and accurate mailing database of press contacts, customers, government bodies and associations in the hotel system. Responsible for coordinating all invitations and social functions of the hotel.
Plan and manage the design layout of the hotel’s collateral, and advertising plans by marking with the in-house designer or contracted vendor.
Maintains a file of all newspaper clippings, advertising strategy of the competitor, collaterals of the hotel
Prepare a weekly brief of all public relations activities, advertising and media plan for DOSM
Attends weekly sales meetings
Perform all other duties as required.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

A degree in mass communications or hospitality management (preferable)
At least 4 years experience in public relations; 2 years in a supervisory capacity in an international standard hotel (preferable)
Strong oral and written skills
Fluent in English and Georgian
Must have strong relationships with trade and consumer press and related media
Good social skills, confident and ability to communicate effectively.
