We are pleased to announce an opening for the position of Pastry Cook

Duty Station: Tbilisi, Georgia.
Type of Appointment: Full-time.
Estimated Start Date: As soon as possible.

Scope:
A Pastry Cook is in charge of preparing pastries, desserts, breads, and other baked goods.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Consulting with the executive chef and other chefs to plan menus.
• Executed pastry orders for catered events and accommodated special requests.
• Demonstrating skill in baking pastries, desserts, cakes, cookies, sweets, and pies.
• Creating enticing confectionery decorations and delicious pastry fillings and keeping abreast of new pastry baking techniques.
• Applying classic pastry baking techniques when preparing traditional pastries.
• Adding novel, creative, and delicious pastry items to the existing selection.
• Monitoring equipment and ensuring all specialized pastry baking tools are in working order.
• Maintaining a good running order of specialized pastry baking equipment.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Vocational education in the field of beverages and food (will be considered an advantage);
• 1 year of experience working in a similar position;
• Advanced knowledge of traditional pastry baking techniques.
