We are looking for new team friends as Legal Officer
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensuring bank’s compliance with regulatory requirements;
- Legal assistance with existing and/or new bank product and process;
- Dvelopment, modification, and standardization of contract terms relating to banking products
- Representing the interests of the bank in courts, arbitrations, and administrative bodies;
- Ensuring the bank's coordination with the National Bank of Georgia and other government authorities;
- Advising relevant departments on the establishment and enforcement of personal data protection regulations;
- Negotiating and drafting wide range of contracts;
Required Qualifications:
- A law degree from a Georgian university. A master's degree is preferred.
- A minimum of three years of post-qualification experience is necessary. Preference will be given to a person with similar work experience in the financial sector.
- Knowledge of civil and administrative law, corporate law, personal data protection law, labor law, and banking regulations.
- The status of a lawyer (Administrative and civil field) will be considered advantageous.
- Excellent knowledge of Georgian and English is a must (both written and spoken). Knowledge of Turkish will be considered advantageous.
