POSITION OVERVIEW
We are looking for a precise, analytical, and results-driven Cost Estimator to support our expanding project portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing accurate construction cost estimates, analyzing technical documentation, and contributing to budgeting and procurement processes. Strong technical competence, market awareness, and familiarity with Georgian construction standards will be key to success in this role.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
• 3–5 years of proven experience in cost estimation or quantity surveying
• Strong understanding of construction technologies, methodologies, and cost drivers
• Ability to interpret and analyze drawings, BOQs, and technical documentation
• Critical requirement: Strong capability to work directly within drawings and perform precise quantity take-offs (not merely reading, but actively extracting and verifying volumes).
• Hands-on experience in preparing cost estimates, unit-rate analyses, and detailed cost breakdowns
• Knowledge of Georgian construction norms, pricing databases, and market rates
• Experience interacting with contractors, suppliers, and participating in tender procedures
• Proficiency in MS Excel; experience with AutoCAD is considered an advantage
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Georgian and English; Russian is a plus

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Preparing detailed construction cost estimates, BOQs, and cost breakdowns
• Analyzing drawings, specifications, and site information
• Conducting accurate quantity take-offs directly from drawings and verifying measured volumes
• Developing and reviewing unit prices, resource analyses, and cost calculations
• Contributing to project budgeting and financial forecasting
• Requesting, collecting, and analyzing quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
• Supporting tender processes, including bid evaluations and procurement analysis
• Monitoring project changes and preparing cost assessments for variations
• Performing comparative analyses and identifying value-engineering opportunities
• Assisting in monthly progress evaluations in coordination with project teams
• Maintaining accurate and well-structured cost documentation
• Collaborating actively with design, procurement, and construction departments
