Foreign Company Georgia Branch is pleased to announce a vacancy for the position of Mechanical Engineer

Main Duties:

• Prepare and deliver accurate quotations in a timely manner as per client instructions, ensuring work is completed within the agreed budget.
• Develop and issue Method Statements for projects and site activities.
• Enforce and comply with all Company and Client HSE procedures at all times; conduct Toolbox Talks, site safety inspections, and ensure compliance with SSOW procedures, permits, and safety instructions.
• Ensure project specifications are correctly applied; perform site inspections, including visits to Client sites for surveys and monitoring of site works.
• Manage projects effectively using sound engineering principles and techniques, including accurate estimates of personnel, equipment, and material requirements; prepare sketches and technical documentation.
• Plan and organize work in line with project specifications, considering cost implications, safety standards, and time constraints; identify and implement cost-saving methods and procedures.
• Oversee the maintenance and safe operation of machinery, tools, and equipment; coordinate timely supply of materials and machinery.
• Attend meetings and liaise with clients and engineering specialists to resolve technical issues by reviewing information, evaluating options, and implementing effective solutions.
• Contribute to the preparation of detailed project planning schedules and ensure milestones are achieved.
• Hold daily meetings with direct reports and other stakeholders to ensure clarity on scope, responsibilities, and timelines of assigned tasks.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline (Master’s degree is a plus).
• Proven experience in mechanical engineering within oil & gas, energy, or large-scale industrial projects.
• Fluent in English, both – written and speaking
• Strong knowledge of HSE standards and practical experience in enforcing them on-site.
• Proficiency in preparing quotations, method statements, and technical documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Strong project management skills, including planning, resource allocation, and cost control.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, colleagues, and contractors.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar) is desirable.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
