Role Purpose
Provide technical presales leadership for the company’s Fortinet cybersecurity portfolio by supporting partner-led and direct opportunities across the full sales cycle: discovery, solution design, demonstrations, PoCs, proposal support, and a high-quality handover to delivery—driving technical win rate and customer satisfaction.

- Support opportunities from qualification to closure: technical discovery, requirements analysis, solution mapping, and technical validation.
- Translate business needs into Fortinet-based architectures across secure networking and cybersecurity use cases (network security, secure access, segmentation, visibility, and centralized management).
- Present solutions to customers and partners and clearly communicate value, differentiators, and best-fit scenarios.
- Plan and deliver demos, workshops, and PoCs: define scope, success criteria, test plans, execute validation, document results, and recommend next steps.
- Troubleshoot issues during evaluations and coordinate with vendor resources and internal teams when needed.
- Produce and review presales documentation: HLD/LLD, technical proposals, BOMs, licensing guidance, and implementation handover notes.
- Provide sizing and configuration guidance aligned to customer environments and operational requirements.
- Enable partners and internal sales teams through trainings, technical sessions, and best-practice guidance.
- Maintain technical sales assets: reference architectures, demo/PoC templates, competitive positioning notes, and standard configuration examples.
- Work closely with Sales/BDM to build win plans and improve opportunity quality (use case fit, risks, assumptions, next steps).
- Coordinate with Operations/Delivery to ensure feasibility, clear scope, and smooth transition from presales to implementation.
- Support GTM activities (webinars, events, partner days) with technical content and delivery.
- Stay current on Fortinet portfolio updates, industry trends, and competitive landscape; provide feedback to improve offerings and messaging.
- Contribute to internal best practices and continuously improve presales processes and documentation quality.
- Presales-assisted revenue and technical win rate / conversion.
- PoC success rate, time-to-completion, and quality of PoC outcomes/documentation.
- Responsiveness and stakeholder satisfaction (Sales/partners/customers).
- Enablement impact: number and quality of partner/internal technical sessions delivered.
- Quality of handovers to delivery (low rework, fewer escalations, clear scope).
Requirements
- 3–7+ years in presales / solutions engineering / network & security engineering roles.
- Strong fundamentals in networking and security (routing/switching, VLANs, VPN/IPsec, firewall policies, segmentation).
- Hands-on experience with cybersecurity/network security solutions (any combination of NGFW, SD-WAN, secure remote access, NAC, endpoint, cloud security, logging/analytics).
- Experience supporting partners/integrators and working in project-based sales cycles.
- Ability to run technical discovery, deliver presentations, and lead workshops for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Structured approach to PoCs and documentation; strong ownership and attention to detail.
- Languages: Georgian (fluent), English (confident for emails and calls), Russian (working proficiency).
Nice to Have
- Practical experience with Fortinet products (e.g., FortiGate, Forti Manager, Forti Analyzer, Forti Switch, Forti AP).
- Fortinet certifications (NSE/FCP/FCSS or equivalent) or willingness to obtain them.
- Experience with virtualization and cloud environments (VMware/Hyper-V, AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Familiarity with SASE/ZTNA concepts and security operations workflows.
