Georgian Co-Investment Fund (GCF) is announcing a vacancy for the position of Junior Financial Analyst

Job Title: Junior Financial Analyst
Department: Finance
Reports to: Chief Financial Officer
Location: Tbilisi, Georgia

About the Georgian Co-Investment Fund (GCF):
The Georgian Co-Investment Fund (GCF) is a private equity fund based in Tbilisi, Georgia, managing investments across key economic sectors such as Hospitality & Real Estate, Agriculture and more. With a team of approximately 30 professionals and a portfolio of affiliated companies, GCF aims to support and drive long-term, sustainable economic growth in Georgia through strategic investments.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting, Accounting & Audit
  • Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in coordination with the Head of Reporting and Chief Accountant.
  • Support preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
  • Assist with external audit processes, including preparation of documentation and schedules requested by auditors.
  • Monitor accounting records and reconciliations for the funds and the management company.
  • Maintain organized financial documentation and reporting schedules.
  • Support preparation of financial information required for internal reporting.

Budgeting & Financial Planning
  • Support preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts for the funds and the management company.
  • Monitor operating expenses and prepare budget vs. actual variance analysis.
  • Assist in liquidity planning and financial projections.
  • Capital Call & Distribution Management
  • Support the planning and execution of capital calls and distributions, including preparation of related calculations and documentation.
  • Maintain records of investor commitments, capital contributions, and capital activity.
  • Calculation of management fees and preparation of related supporting schedules and documentation.

Treasury & Liquidity Monitoring
  • Monitor cash balances and liquidity across the funds and related entities.
  • Assist in preparation of short- and medium-term cash flow forecasts.
  • Support coordination of payments and investment-related transactions.
  • Fund Performance & Internal Coordination
  • Assist in preparation of periodic fund performance and profitability summary reports for management.
  • Collect and analyze financial and operational information required for performance reporting.
  • Work closely with other departments to obtain necessary data and support preparation of internal reports and analyses.

Intra-Group Financing Management
  • Support structuring and monitoring of intra-group financing transactions implemented through debt and equity instruments.
  • Maintain records of shareholder loans, capital injections, and other internal financing arrangements.
  • Track outstanding balances, interest accruals, repayment schedules, and maturity dates.
  • Maintain debt schedules and ensure accurate accounting and reconciliation of financing transactions.
  • In coordination with the Legal Department, assist in preparing and maintaining loan agreements and monitor loans that may require extension or amendment.

Compliance & KYC Support
  • Assist in preparation and maintenance of KYC / AML documentation required by banks, financial institutions, investors, and counterparties.
  • Assist in responding to bank and counterparty information requests related to compliance, KYC, and corporate documentation.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Chief Financial Officer in support of the company’s activities.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field, or a final-year student in one of these disciplines.
  • Relevant experience in finance, accounting, audit, or financial analysis will be considered an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
