About SMEC:

Role Overview:
We are seeking a Marine Traffic Assessment / Navigation Specialist to support marina and coastal infrastructure projects on a consultant.
This role will focus on navigation safety, marine traffic analysis, and simulation-based assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct marine traffic impact assessments for marina and coastal developments
- Perform navigation safety and risk analysis
- Undertake vessel simulation modelling and interpretation
- Support integration of findings into EIA reports
- Provide technical input to multidisciplinary teams
Requirements:
- Degree in Maritime Engineering, Naval Architecture, Coastal Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience in marine traffic modelling and navigation studies
- Experience with marine simulation software
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Fluency in English
- The Georgian or Russian languages are mandatory
