Our customers are large international companies, leaders in the insurance industry. We are looking for a Scrum Master.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Independently apply Agile practices across multiple teams using Scrum and/or Kanban methodologies.
• Limit work in progress and manage workflow to ensure efficient delivery.

Host and facilitate Agile ceremonies, including:

• Daily stand-ups
• Sprint planning
• Short-, mid-, and long-term planning
• Backlog refinement
• Retrospective meetings
• Act as a servant leader, guiding and coaching Scrum teams to follow Agile best practices.
• Support Agile teams with varying levels of maturity, actively working to upskill them and increase overall Agile adoption.
• Ensure smooth team operations by removing impediments, anticipating challenges, identifying risks, and recommending mitigations and solutions.
• Partner with key stakeholders (Product Owner, Team Lead, Project Manager) to prioritize backlogs, track and report metrics, and ensure a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process enhancements.
• Foster a collaborative, self-organizing team environment to achieve high performance.
• Facilitate communication and alignment across cross-functional teams to meet objectives and deliverables.
• Ensure Agile principles and values are understood and adopted throughout the organization
• Documents and regularly updates Scrum team processes, ensuring alignment with Agile best practices and team operations to ensure clarity across the Scrum team.
• Responsible for creating and delivering well-structured Sprint Review summaries that highlight key accomplishments, challenges, and upcoming priorities.
• Provides mentorship to junior team members and Scrum Masters, promoting a coaching culture that supports professional growth and agile excellence.

Skills Required:

• Undergraduate student or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• A Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification is a nice-to-have qualification.
• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.).
• Experience using Agile project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Trello.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage independently in a dynamic environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and flexibility.
• Strong facilitation, coaching, and team-building abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with distributed or remote teams is a plus.
