To strengthen our team, we are currently seeking a suitable candidate for the position of Air Freight Operations.
Position Description Summary:
- Responsible for ensuring adequate support to Customers, Sales, and Upper Management as well as intra and inter-department support for international shipments. It involves rate negotiations/carrier procurement as well as quotations for existing Customers, including key, strategic, and high-profile accounts, and for potential prospects. Assignments include negotiations of both buying and selling rates, booking instructions, and projections covering both the internal and external demand (Customers, Account stakeholders, and/or Management).
Your tasks:
- You will ensure the smooth organization of our Air Freight shipments from pick-up to delivery.
- You coordinate shipments for our customers and offices.
- You enter and process our orders and create the corresponding documents.
- You keep track of shipments and meet delivery deadlines.
- You communicate with our worldwide offices, carriers, and customs authorities.
Your profile:
- Freight Forwarding or commercial training.
- Work experience in Freight Forwarding with focus on Air business
- Good knowledge of Georgian and English.
- You enjoy working with new systems and are quick to get to grips with processes.
- You are an organizational talent and keep an overview even in stressful times.
- You like to work in a team but work independently and effectively in your area of responsibility.
