Employer: Eastern Power Corporation Ltd.
Vacancy Title: Duty Operator
Workplace: Khadori Hydro Power Plant (Khadori HPP) Village Khadori Akhmeta District: Akhmeta
Core obligations:
- Effective participation in Khadori HPP’s technical operation for ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient power generation and delivery, including but not limited to:
- Participation in startup and/or shutdown of generation units;
- Perform Visual checks/inspections of Power Plant’s electro-mechanical equipments, maintain operating maintenance logs, including recording of meter readings on a regular basis;
- Participation in the repairs and maintenance of main and auxiliary electro-mechanical equipment installed in power house and switchyard;
- Participation in prophylactic emergency prevention measures;
- Proper understanding and performance of senior technical personnel’s’ instructions and recommendations;
- Active participation in conducted site trainings without business interruption;
- Strict observance of internal regulations and all statutory occupational safety requirements
Work Regime:
- Duration of Shift: 2 (two) weeks
- Probationary period: 6 (Six) months For Experienced Person can be shorten to 3 months）
- Accommodation: Provided from the employer (Dormitory of Khadori HPP).
Minimum Qualification:
- Citizenship: Citizen of Georgia
- Education: Higher education in Energy or related field (Bachelor Degree is a must, Master Degree is a plus)
- Major: Power plant related majors (hydropower, electrical, mechanical, automation, renewable energy),
- One position can be in IT direction
- Experience: Technical (preferably working experience at Energy Facilities)
- Languages: Basic speaking, reading and writing skills in English and/or Russian languages
- Computer Literacy: Computer Literate (MS Windows, MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook)
- Good Health
- Responsible, sociable individual with team spirit
- Self-motivated with demonstrated willingness for qualification growth
