Recruitment Agency HH (www.HH.ge)  is announcing a selection for the position of Mechanical and Sanitary Inspector,  for one of the biggest real estate company in Tbilisi, Georgia

Job Description

• Supervision Inspector shall maintain the principles of impartiality and professional independence required by the law and professional ethic
• Supervision inspector shall be devoted to the compliance of the project’s execution with its approved design, specifications and standards and to preserve the high quality of the work
• Inspecting installations using engineering skills to determine soundness and compliance with the building contracts, designs, specifications, building codes, referenced standards, norms, safety regulations, conditions of acceptance and approvals
• Inspection of the works carried out, components and equipment for conformity with property verified material forms and specifications, certificates, etc.
• Conduct inspections, using survey instruments, metering devices, tape measures or test equipment
• Measure dimensions and verify level, alignment or elevation of installations or fixtures to ensure compliance to building plans and codes
• Maintain daily logs and supplement inspection records with photographs
• Monitoring progress of the work and its conformity with the project’s detailed schedule
• Participation in the acceptance tests carries out by the general contractor and by the relevant public authorities or institutions
• Informing the Project Manager on possible omitted and additional works, their justification and amount
• Checking if the contactors and subcontractors have required licenses and properly skilled personnel for carrying out the works
• Participation in the evaluation and selection of the subcontractors
• Evaluate premises for cleanliness, such as proper garbage disposal or lack of vermin infestation
• Participation in the handing over of the construction site to the general constructor
• Participation in works of the hand over committee

Main Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in the field of Mechanical/Sanitary Engineering
• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Mechanical and Sanitary Inspector/Quality Assurance Manager
• Working experience in the Hotel construction
• Knowledge of English language

• Contract duration: 2-3 years or as long as the project completion takes
