The analyst will also play a critical role in establishing KPI monitoring standards and ensuring model compliance for investor reporting.

We are seeking a proactive and analytically strong Financial Analyst to join our Business Analytical Department. This role involves in-depth financial and operational analysis of portfolio companies, financial modeling, and support in investment decision-making. The analyst will also play a critical role in establishing KPI monitoring standards and ensuring model compliance for investor reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct financial analysis and performance reviews of GCF’s portfolio companies in sectors such as hospitality, real estate, agriculture, and retail.
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, valuation, budgeting, and investor reporting.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for portfolio companies, including defining relevant metrics, researching trends, and tracking results.
- Prepare and distribute analytical reports regarding KPI performance to internal stakeholders and relevant decision-makers.
- Ensure the reliability and consistency of managerial financial models used for investor reporting:
- Develop and improve internal modeling standards.
- Identify and correct deviations from those standards.
- Support portfolio companies in model development and compliance.
- Create visual dashboards and reporting tools using Excel and Power BI.
- Participate in due diligence and investment analysis for new opportunities.
- Collaborate with senior team members to support strategic planning and decision-making.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, investment banking, consulting, or private equity.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, sensitivity analysis, pivot tables, etc.).
- Working knowledge of Power BI for dashboarding and data visualization.
- Solid understanding of financial modeling, valuation techniques (DCF, comparables), and investment analysis.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Georgian and English.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Experience in or exposure to the sectors of hospitality, real estate, agriculture, or retail – a strong plus.
