General description of the position
Legal Intern is a professional position involved in coordination process of field works of the team and as a member of the team he/she is involved in field works of specific projects.
He/she is supervised directly by Head of Legal division and/or Legal Associate and reports to him/her on a regular basis on completion of assigned tasks.

Tasks, duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assist legal team in all aspects and legal matters;
• Conduct legal research, translate legal documents;
• File legal documents with government agencies, notaries and other organizations;
• Research legislation, maintain and update clients lists, keep current and permanent files in order;
• Take into account recommendations given by senior staff, show willingness to learn;
• Manage own work efficiently to deliver a quality outcome to agreed deadlines;
• Upgrade qualifications and to gain professional knowledge, skills or practical experience.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Law or student of last year/semester of undergraduate studies in law;
• Limited relevant preliminary work experience is desired;
• Language skills: Georgian, English (fluent ‒ mandatory).

Working conditions and other benefits
Working hours are from 09:30 to 18:30 with 1-hour lunch break;

Grant Thornton provides financing for certain professional training courses, subject to approval by the Head of Legal;
