Role Overview: The position is responsible for driving sales growth and market share within the modern trade channel by developing and executing effective trade marketing strategies. Partner closely with sales, marketing, and key retail accounts to deliver impactful promotions, optimize in-store execution, and build strong long-term relationships, while using market insights and performance data to continuously improve results and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Job Responsibilities:
- Strategy Planning and Execution: Develop and implement trade marketing strategies tailored to key modern trade partners, focused on increasing sales volume, market share, and profitability through effective pricing, promotions, and product placement decisions.
- Sales Support: Work closely with sales and key account teams during negotiations, providing data-driven insights, strategic input, and customized trade solutions to strengthen brand visibility and support business growth.
- Account Management: Build, manage, and sustain long-term partnerships with key retail accounts, acting as a trusted advisor and adapting strategies based on business reviews, market dynamics, and consumer preferences.
- Promotion Planning and Management: Plan, execute, and oversee promotional and merchandising activities across key accounts, collaborating cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth execution and strong return on investment.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Track and analyze the effectiveness of trade marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns, prepare performance reports, and continuously optimize strategies to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Market Development: Identify and evaluate new business opportunities within the modern trade channel while continuously monitoring competitor activity and market trends to maintain competitiveness and drive growth.
- Consumer Behavior Insight: Conduct research and analyze shopper behavior across different retail formats to inform relevant, customer-focused trade strategies and improve in-store execution.
- Additional Responsibilities: Support a positive team environment and company culture, uphold the company’s image, protect confidential information, comply with health and safety regulations, and perform other duties as assigned by management.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- 3–5+ years of experience in Trade Marketing, Sales Marketing or a related commercial role, preferably within FMCG or retail.
- Proven experience working with modern trade / key accounts and managing promotional campaigns.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint); experience with CRM or BI tools is an advantage.
- Fluency in Georgian and English languages is a must.
