HH Recruitment (www.HH.ge) is announcing a vacancy for the position of Chief Engineer for one of the construction companies in Tbilisi.

Main responsibilities

• Ensuring the smooth running of construction processes;
• Weekly schedule adjustments together with project managers;
• Confirmation of procurement and payment requests;
• Periodic revision of projects (both in the drawings and in the budget part);
• Control of compliance of field forms and reports;
• Ensuring the detection and elimination of design issues and inconsistencies;
• Creation of specific building documentation;
• Involvement in creating daily duties of subordinate employees;
• Monitoring and controlling duties performed by subordinate employees;
• Ensuring the completion of construction works within the planned deadlines and in the established volume;
• Supervision of projects;
• Constant communication with stakeholders.
• Drawing up a project calendar schedule together with the project manager;
• Control of procurement together with the procurement team;
• Control of quality performance of works;
• Control the execution of works within the planned timeline;
• Coordinating duties of site project managers;

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (Civil Engineering, Construction, Engineering);
• Master’s Degree is desirable;
• Minimum 5 years of working experience as a Chief Engineer;
• Work experience in construction, engineering, or project management is mandatory.
• Knowledge of English or Russian;
• Mandatory MS Office, MS Project, AutoCAD, Revit;
