Grant Thornton is pleased to announce a vacancy for Sales and Business development Specialist. 
Sales and Business development Specialist is an administrative position, responsible for assisting in implementation of marketing and communications activities of the Firm. Sales and Business development Specialist reports to the Marketing Communications and Business Development Manager.

Position: Sales and Business development Specialist 
Working place: office (distance work only once a week)

Tasks, duties and responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities of the Marketing Specialist include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Conduct thorough research to identify potential clients and market trends. Analyze market data to understand client needs and preferences.
  • Generate leads through various channels such as networking, cold calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach. Identify and qualify prospects for potential business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and preferences. Provide ongoing support and address any issues or concerns they may have.
  • Collaborate with marketing team to develop tailored proposals and presentations for potential clients. Customize solutions to meet the specific needs of each client.
  • Manage the sales pipeline effectively, from lead generation to deal closure. 
  • Contribute to marketing strategies to promote the company's services and enhance its brand visibility. Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to increase market presence.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics, including revenue targets, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction levels. Prepare regular reports and analysis to evaluate sales effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices in sales and business development. 
  • Collaborate with service line managers to ensure alignment of business development activities with overall company goals and objective

Qualifications and skills
  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, sales, or a related field. 
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or consulting, preferably within the management consulting industry.
  • Demonstrated success in generating leads, closing deals, and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience in sales tools for pipeline management and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of the management consulting industry, including key players, market trends, and client needs.
  • Familiarity with consulting methodologies, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Strong presentation skills for delivering proposals, pitches, and client presentations.
  • Effective negotiation skills to navigate complex deals, resolve conflicts, and reach mutually beneficial agreements with clients.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients, colleagues, and industry contacts.
  • Ability to establish trust and credibility with clients through active listening and understanding of their needs.
  • Strong analytical skills to conduct market research, analyze data, and identify business opportunities.
  • Ability to assess client needs, develop customized solutions, and present value propositions effectively.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think critically and develop innovative sales strategies to drive business growth.
  • Capacity to anticipate market trends, competitor activities, and client demands to position the company effectively.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions, client needs, and organizational priorities.
  • Willingness to learn and evolve in a dynamic business environment.
  • Excellent communications skills, ability to work with partners and staff at all levels; Ability to adopt to a dynamic and rapidly growing business environment.
  • Language skills: fluency in Georgian, English.
